Free Fonts : Famous Fonts
- Zelda DX (click for details)

Thanks for Downloading Zelda DX.
The characters in this font are based on the text used in 'The Legend
of Zelda: Link's Awakening [DX]' for the Gameboy Color.
-Zelda DX TT [.ttf]
-Zelda DX [7pt] [.fon]
'zeldadx.fon' is a Windows Bitmap Font (.fon). This font is best
used at 7pt. To use it at larger point sizes (for images), try using
a graphics program like Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, or the Paint
program that comes with Windows. Type out your text at the recommended
point size [7pt], then resize the image. Set the color mode to 256
or 2 colors so the edges don't get blured when resizing, then after you
have the text to the size that you want, then change back to a higher
color mode and edit the image. For programs that don't show Bitmap Fonts in the Font Selector, you
may be able to get the font to work by typing in:
zelda dx -brk-
When using the TTF version, try using it with anti-aliasing off.

- Zapped (click for details)

I do a lot of graphic design work for print and video. It seems like I've spent an awful lot of time lately messing up fonts and hand lettering things to get that "MTV-Wired Magazine" look everyone is after these days. So I decided that rather than reinvent the wheel every time I need a cool font I would start making my own. Well, after everyone in the office wanted them, I decided I might be able to find some other maniacs out there who would appreciate a few trendy new fonts. I use and abuse them in CorelDraw, Photoshop, 3-D programs and word processors they add real personality to what ever you use them for.
The fonts are in TrueType format. To use them, please install them using the appropriate software (i.e. Windows Control Panel, Windows'95 control panel, etc.).

This font is shareware.
- Zhang QA (click for details)

This version includes capital and lowercase letters, some commonly used punctuation and a few international characters (by special request).
I major in Business at LA Tech. Everyone that majors in business has to take Quantitative Analysis 233. It is an extremely boring class. My teacher was especially boring. He was not from America, and could not speak English very well. He compensated for this by not speaking very much. My teacher's name was Hongkai Zhang. Since his lectures inspired this font, I felt it would do justice to name it after him and his class.
The uppercase of this font was designed to look like letters running away. That's what half the class was doing the day I drew this font. The other half wanted to. Except me. I was having fun drawing this font.

- Y'old Anglican (click for details)

Y'old Anglican TTF file by GemFonts is just like the name says. It's written in the classic, old time way of hollow lettering with extra decorative edges and lines. This font would be great to use for something grungy, or even just to impersonate something old.
